Storm drops .13 inches of rain

A quick-moving storm dropped .13 inches of rain at Schlemeyer Field and created 32 mph gusts Wednesday evening, National Weather Service meteorologist Jim DeBerry said. Maximum sustained winds were only 23 mph.

DeBerry said The National Weather Service in Midland picked up hail from the same storm as it went across Martin and Dawson counties. The strongest gusts of 48 mph were recorded in Lamesa.

Only trace rainfall reached Midland International Airport. No damages or flooding was reported throughout the area.
