Snow conditions

The Texas Department of Transportation is reporting light amounts of mixed rain, sleet and snow from Stanton to Fort Davis and from Andrews to Sanderson.

Temperatures are close to freezing mark across the northern Permian Basin. Drivers should be alert for icing on bridges and overpasses.

TxDOT road crews have been treating bridges and overpasses this morning.

Expect re-freezing overnight. Watch for occasional patches of black ice on road in the morning. Plan a little extra time for the morning commute.  Slow down to road conditions and leave some extra space between you and vehicle in front of you.
