Million dollar winner

KERMIT One Kermit resident has a little extra money in her bank account after she won a million dollars with a Texas Lottery scratch off.
According to a Texas Lottery news release, DeLonda Kennedy won the money from the "$1 Million Cash" ticket she bought at Kent Kwik, 423 W. Austin Street. She will receive $750,000 after taxes.
Kennedy said in the release that she was going to set up a trust fund for her grandchildren so they can go to college.
