Missing woman FOUND
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A missing Midland woman was found Friday evening in Big Spring.
Lucille Preston, 66, was located near the intersections of Highways 87 and 707 around 5 p.m. Friday, according to an Odessa Police Department news release. She wasn't injured and will be returned to her family in Midland.
Odessa police reported Friday that they'd received an unconfirmed report that Preston may have taken a taxi from Odessa to Big Spring. The informant reported Preston was dropped off at Marcy Drive and Gregg Street and was last seen walking north on Highway 87 from Wal-Mart.
Preston had participated in a senior citizens Olympics at Lincoln Towers in Odessa. She had last been seen there at 9:45 a.m.
