Midland man killed on bicycle

MIDLAND A 47-year-old Midland man was killed Wednesday morning after being stuck by a vehicle.

According to a Midland police news release, Bobby Jack Baker merged on to the eastbound lane of traffic of Interstate 20 where a tractor-trailer collided with the bicyclist.

Baker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the accident, but the release said the driver of the tractor-trailer doesn’t face any charges.
