Postal worker gets probation

MIDLAND A Midland U.S. Postal Service worker was sentenced Thursday to four years probation for theft of mail.

Myung Ashley, 53, was convicted in May of stealing three gift cards from the mail in 2008 and 2009.

A federal jury found that Ashley took two Academy Sports gift cards from a Christmas card addressed to a Monahans resident and a third gift card from a greeting card addressed to a Midland resident. Investigators linked Ashley to the gift cards after they were used at the Academy Sports in Midland.

She faced up to 10 years in prison.

Those people who didn't get their gift cards were sayin' to their relatives/friends.........."Sure you sent me a gift card"....(wink)....Must have got lost in the mail.....Three people have now been VINDICATED....Let's not forget that fact.

So....When they say "The Checks in the Mail""...They really mean.."The checks in the mailperson bank"...heh!

I wish they would nail my MailWinch 's hide to the cross,,,I hardly ever get MY mail....Get everybody else's mail....even their heart meds..with the correct mail address of the intended on the packet...haven't figured out what she does with mine,yet....She probably throws it away since I complained to the PMG....:-)

They have a really strong union of sorts,Righteous...Wouldn't be surprising if she does....I know it's really hard for em ' to Fire the Rural Delivery Ones...Because my postal Daughter of satan is still working .:-(
