Shooting victim arrested

MIDLAND A man who was shot Oct. 21 at his own car detail shop in Midland has been arrested by Drug Enforcement Agency officials on a federal drug charge.

Records at the U.S. district clerk’s office state Robert Yorkman will have a detention hearing Tuesday. He was arrested Wednesday. Officials accused him of conspiring to deliver more than five kilograms of cocaine.

Yorkman survived an Oct. 21 shooting by a man who reportedly walked into his car detail shop at 3400 W. Illinois Ave. and attacked him.

Hear through the grapevine that this shooter was the kingpin drug lord in Midland. Big time player. Makes sense that he might have some connections to the trade to have been visited by this drug lord. All coming together now. Got to get the kingpin now.
