Midland police are investigating the death of a white male whose body was found at about 3:21 p.m. Saturday behind 804 S. Terrell St., according to a MPD news release.

Midland police were dispatched to the location after a report of an unconscious person. Officers found the person dead. The cause of death is not known.

The body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy. The name is being withheld until family is notified.

The investigation is continuing.
