Suspected Bob's Better Burger bandit arrested

MIDLAND One man has been charged in connection with the Dec. 12 robbery of two Bob's Better Burger, according to a news release from the Midland Police Department.

The release said Justin Lewis Way, 18, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. He was being held Wednesday at the Midland County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Police also issued a warrant for 20-year-old Caleb Tanner Cummins in connection with the robbery.

According to records, two Bobs Better Burger employees were leaving the store at 3417 Thomason Drive just before midnight Dec. 12 when the robbers walked up to each of the women and showed a gun. They took a bank deposit bag and their purses before striking one of the women in the head. The injury required stitching.

Anyone with information on Cummins' whereabouts can call the Midland Police Department at 685-7108 or CrimeStoppers at 694-3744.
