Two suspects arrested
MIDLAND The two suspects were arrested in connection to a man being shot in both feet Tuesday at the Airline Mobile Home Park west of Midland, according to a news release from the Midland County Sheriff's Office.
Jonathon Jason Lee, 20, turned himself over to authorities in Midland on Wednesday, while Jeremiah Wayne Lee, 25, was caught at 10 p.m. Thursday in Odessa by multiple law enforcement agencies. Both were charged with attempted murder, according to the news release.
Jonathon Lee was released from the Midland County Jail on a $25,000 bond after he was charged with a $25,000 bond. Jeremiah Lee was being held at the Ector County Detention Center until he can be transferred to Midland, the release stated.
According to the release, Jonathon and Jeremiah Lee went to the house of Randall Fausett at 869 Hawaiian at 9:02 p.m. Tuesday and shot 10 rounds into his trailer using a 40-caliber semi-automatic pistol. Investigators believe they were targeting someone that used to live in the trailer, but the intended victim no longer lived there and they attacked the wrong man.
Fausett was shot in both feet. He called 9-1-1 and was taken to the Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
