UTPB to Mexico
Comments 0 | Recommend 0It's time to get out the art history flash cards, because UTPB is inviting the community to Mexico this spring to study ancient art and architecture as well as 20th century icons.
And it's not just for students - everyone is welcome to study murals and ancient remains.
Marianne Woods, assistant professor of art, will guide the tour.
The world travelers will hoof it to the homes and museum of Diego Rivera in Mexico City.
The wife of Rivera and painter of vibrant self-portraits, Frida Kahlo, and more of Mexico's 20th century artists will be featured.
The cost is $2,700 per person, but don't fret because this includes airfare, superior class hotels, American breakfasts, first-class motor coach transportation, site entrance fees and the tour guide.
