Marshals make arrest

MIDLAND A man who fled town to skip a sexual assault trial in March was apprehended in Arlington Wednesday night, the U.S. Marshals' Midland office reported in a news release.
Dusty Gus Hernandez was arrested without incident at a home in Arlington after more than six months on the run, according to the news release. He was supposed to appear in court for two charges of aggravated assault on a child and one count of indecency with a child in March, the release stated.
Hernandez has since been indicted with 18 counts of child pornography before U.S. Marshals traced him to the Arlington home, according to the news release.
At one point, the release stated, Marshals believed Hernandez might have been associated with a professional dance organization in Dallas that involves children. The marshals were also putting a package together to put Hernandez on the television show "America's Most Wanted."
