BIG SPRING Big Spring police are looking for a man who robbed a movie theater.

Police responded to the Cinema 4, 1801 E. FM 700, after the manager reported being robbed, a Big Spring Police Department news release said.

The manager reported to police that a black man approached him and asked him if he was the manager. When the manger stated he was, the man said he had a complaint and the manager lead him to the office. Before getting to the office, the suspect put his hand in his hoodie and told the manager he had a gun. Once in the office, the suspect ordered the manager to open the safe, took an undetermined amount of cash, struck the victim in the stomach, grabbed the office phone and fled the scene, the release stated.

The suspect is described as a 15- to 17-year-old black man, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing black hoodie, black shorts, black shoes and a black baseball hat. He was last seen exiting the main doors into the mall parking lot.

The manager was not seriously injured, and the release said he never saw a weapon.
