The festival features around 40 authors, including Karen Valby, senior writer for "Entertainment Weekly," and Joe Nick Patoski , a writer for "Texas Monthly."

Festival activities include a breakfast with the authors 9:30 a.m. at Dee’s Bistro and a Valby lecture followed by a screening of “The Last Picture Show” at 3:30 p.m.

Admission to the authors’ breakfast is $20, and the lecture and movie are $25. All other events are free.
