State Rep. Tryon Lewis has filed for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives 81st District.
Lewis won a special election in 2008 to fill the seat of former representative Buddy West, who died in June after losing a primary race to Lewis. In November of 2008, Lewis beat out Libertarian Elmo Hockman for the District 81 State Representative seat.
Lewis is a Permian High graduate and attorney. Lewis and his wife, Trudy, have two daughters.
