Santa's motto may be slightly different today: Ho, Ho, Hockey.
Members of the Odessa Jackalopes and their mascot, Slapjack, will visit seven locations throughout Odessa and Midland to reach out to the community and promote holiday cheer.
The tour will begin at 9 a.m. in the Odessa Day Nursery School on North Tom Green Avenue. The tour's route also includes a stop at a Salvation Army collection location and the West Texas Food Bank, where participants can donate a can a food for a free ticket to a Jackalopes game.
The team is scheduled to arrive at its final stop at 7 p.m., where it will visit residents of the Sherwood Place Retirement Home on East 52nd Street.
At each of the stops, the team will hand out gifts such as ticket vouchers, candy canes and other pieces of team memorabilia.
