How ‘bout a Fandango?

Celebrate Independence Day in downtown Odessa with fun, food and much, much more.

The Firecracker Fandango is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday night with the fireworks show beginning at 10 p.m.

Entrances to the festival will be at Fourth and Lee Street and Fourth and Sam Houston Avenue.

The cost is $5 in advance at an Blockbuster Video store and $7 at the door, children 7 and under get in free.

The Jaycees Independence Day Parade is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Saturday at Odessa College.
