MIDLAND A disturbance between a husband and wife ended with a third person's death and a house with a hole in it after a high-speed chase through town caused a wreck on Delano Avenue near Midkiff Road early Friday morning, according to a news release from the Midland Police Department.

Bobby Waldrop, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident when a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon he was riding in was hit by a speeding 2008 Pontiac G6 that ran through a stop sign.

The G6 was driven by 24-year-old Kristy Pando-Ibarra, who was chasing after husband Isaias Ibarra, 26, who was speeding east on Delano in a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe after a disturbance.

During the chase, the G6 smashed into the Tiburon's passenger-side door. The Tiburon was shoved into a parked Ford Taurus at 3225 Delano Ave., and the Taurus was then pushed into a Ford Explorer parked next to it before it went through the house, according to the release.

Ibarra, Pando-Ibarra, and Nathan Hernandez, 22, who was driving the Tiburon, were treated and released from Midland Memorial Hospital.

Ibarra was charged with intoxication manslaughter, Pando-Ibarra with involuntary manslaughter, and Hernandez with driving while intoxicated. Even though Hernandez was not considered at fault in the accident, officers determined he was driving under the influence, the release stated.

Ibarra and Pando-Ibarra each posted a $50,000 bond Friday. Hernandez was free on a $500 bond.

An additional passenger in Pando-Ibarra's G6 was uninjured.
