>> Army Pfc. Richard R. Wiley has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He is currently assigned to 6th Defense artillery in Fort Bliss. Wiley is the son of Donny and Donna Wiley of McCamey. He is a 2004 graduate of Gordon High School.

>> Air Force Airman Calvin R. Leathers has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Roy and Judy Leathers of Odessa. He is a 2008 graduate of Odessa High School.

>> Army Reserve Pvt. Bandy T.J. Blackmon has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Blackmon is the son of Malissa Blackmon of Odessa. He attended Permian High School.

>> Air Force Airman Gregory J. Robinson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Yalonda Robinson of Odessa. He is a 2008 graduate of Odessa High School.

>> Army Reserve Pvt. Carlos Carrillo has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Carrillo is the son of Maria G. Simental of Odessa. He is currently attending Odessa High School.

>> Navy Seaman Recruit Jesus A. Gallegos, son of Carmen M. Revelez of Andrews, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Gallegos is a 2008 graduate of Andrews High School.
