Golf for good

Hit the green for a good cause.

The fifth annual Buckner Golf Classic to Benefit Vulnerable Children in Midland is scheduled for Sept. 13 at the Green Tree Country Club, 4900 Green Tree Blvd.

The tournament raises about $25,000 annually to benefit children in foster care and single mothers seeking higher education. Tee time is 1 p.m.
