Poster set on fire 10 minutes after school let out

Hood Junior High School's classes went out with a bit of a blaze Thursday as someone lit up a poster in one of the hallways, according to a news release from the Ector County Independent School District.

ECISD police are looking for the person who started the fire, which set off the fire alarms at approximately 4:05 p.m., 10 minutes after school let out for the day.

The fire was put out before it caused any damage to the building. No injuries were reported.
