A 13-year-old Odessa boy was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a car-pedestrian accident Friday afternoon.
About 4:45 p.m., a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 39-year-old Vollie George, of Midland, was traveling east in the 600 block of East 42nd Street, according to police reports. Two juvenile males were running north across 42nd Street, not at a crosswalk, when George's vehicle struck Jason Davontia Crowder, police said.
