Drug bust

Two of three Odessans arrested late Tuesday remained in jail today on possession charges.

Sgt. Gary Duesler said in a news release that Ector County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on a house at 11:15 p.m. at 2525 W. Third St.

During the search, deputies found 262.2 grams of cocaine inside the house. The estimated street value of the cocaine is $26,220. Sheriff's investigators also found $7,307 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales, the news release said.

Jorge Moreno, 24, Tera Dawn Moreno, 23, and Domenic Sanchez, 23, were charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. 

Duesler said bond had been denied on Jorge Moreno and Tera Dawn Moreno while federal agents investigate the case.

Domenic Sanchez was released from the Ector County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
