ECHD to appoint member to Ector County Appraisal District

The Ector County Hospital District Board of Directors will be having their monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium of Medical Center Hospital.
Items on the agenda include an inter-local agreement between Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center Hospital for a Telephone Nurse Triage program, the appointment of a member to the Ector County Appraisal District Board of Directors and the swearing in of a police officer for the hospital district police department.
The ECHD board approved creating the new police force during its monthly meeting Sept. 6 after House Bill 3815 granting ECHD the authority to employ and commission police officers.
The board will also:
- Approve a board member for District 5 of the ECHD.
