ECISD trustees to discuss goals

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, the board will meet in Conference Room E of the Administration Building to discuss Superintendent Hector Mendez’s evaluation goals and to continue board planning.

On Nov. 1, the board will meet for a training session with the Center for Reform of School Systems. At that meeting, the board will discuss matters concerning “theory of action,” a topic that Julian Treviño, a governance solutions trainer with CRSS, said “turns the aircraft carrier.” The board has been meeting with CRSS since December 2010.

The CRSS training sessions are paid for by a private grant.
