Panther Paws prepare for 'Dance Explosion'

Senior Kenya Rendon leads young girls in a dance Saturday during the Future Paws Dance Clinic  at Permian High School.

Many of the students will dance in an upcoming “Dance Explosion” at Permian. Dance Explosion is sponsored by the Panther Paws and is a celebration of dance styles. All Permian High School dance classes, the JV and varsity squads, as well as Future Paws participants will dance.  Black Magic will also perform. 

The event is scheduled 6:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and Feb. 18 in the PHS auditorium. Tickets for each night are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. 

Two dollars from each ticket sold at the door will be donated to Honor Our Troops.  

Advance tickets may be purchased from any Panther Paw member or by calling the dance department at Permian High School.
