AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON (FAMILY VIOLENCE)
An Odessa woman reported that her common law husband tried to run her off the road with his vehicle by swerving toward her and throwing a rock at her while she was traveling at a high rate of speed in her car, putting her and her 2-year-old son who was in the backseat in danger, at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of North Grant Avenue.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
A Midland man reported someone went into the building where he was working, doing a total of $750 to a glass door and a metal door, and took two rigid miter saws, a cordless drill, a door and a reciprocating saw between 8 a.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Nabors Lane.
An Odessa woman reported someone went into a building, doing a total of $525 damage to a drain pipe and some trailer doors, and took an bank shaped like an elephant and a laptop computer worth a total $310 between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of North County Road West.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
An Odessa woman reported someone went into her home and took three televisions, an iPad and a Kindle worth a total $2,550 between 6:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of East 53rd Street.
CREDIT CARD ABUSE
An Odessa woman reported someone took her debit card and made transactions between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Copus Avenue.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
A 41-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine around 2 a.m. May 12 in the 1400 block of San Andres Drive. Epifanio Nieto Morales, 2916 Santa Rosa Ave. was released May 12 from the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $9,000.
A 22-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and was booked at 4:16 a.m. Tuesday after being arrested in the 1300 block of East Fourth Street. Ashley Erving, 601 Wabash Ave., was being held Wednesday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond
A 20-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and was booked at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Acten Nino, 317 Divine Ave., was released Wednesday from the Ector County Detention Center on a bond of unknown amount.
An Odessa man reported someone took a compact truck loader worth $34,000 between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of North County Road West.
