Finishing well

HospiceMidland is offering eight classes to deal with end-of-life issues called "Finishing Well."

Topics covered will include health and medical, spiritual and emotional, legal and financial, and the nature of hospice care. Guest speakers will have presentations to educate participants. There is no charge for participation.

However, continuing education credits will be awarded by Midland College for those who request credits for $15. For those who want credits, all session must be attended.

Sessions are from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Monday from Jan. 19 to March 9 at Rays of Hope Children's Grief Centre, 900 W. Wall St., Midland.

Registration for sessions is required. Contact Susan Mauldin at 682-2855 or 686-6101. It is recommended attendees bring a jacket or sweater.

HospiceMidland is the area's only not-for-profit hospice and have been serving the community for 26 years.
