Fog sealing project to take place in Crane County

A fog sealing project is scheduled to take place, as weather permits, during the next three or four weeks in and around Crane County, a Texas Department of Transportation news release stated.

Starting with 14 miles of U.S. Highway 385 from the southern city limits of Crane south to the Upton County line the other roads included in the project are three miles of Highway 329 from the east Crane city limits east to the Upton County line and 19 miles of FM 1492 in Upton County from north Highway 329 to FM 1787 in southern Midland County, the release stated.

Traffic on the two-lane roads will be reduced to one lane during the project and drivers will need to stop and wait for a pilot vehicle to lead them through the work zone, the release stated.

Since the project will take place during the day the roads will be open in both directions at night.
