Oilfield accident

WARD COUNTY A man was flown to Medical Center Hospital with a broken leg after falling off of an 18-wheeler west of Pyote in an oilfield accident Tuesday evening, Ward County sheriff Lt. Ben Deishler said.
Deishler said the man, whose name was not immediately available, was working on a truck at about 8:40 p.m. about 8.5 miles north of F.M. 2355 and 15 miles west of when he fell off and broke his leg. Deishler said the man’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, and he was conscious and talking as he was taken to Monahans before he was flown to Odessa.
