Construction continues Wednesday on the new Science & Technology Complex at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Scheduled for completion in January 2011, the $50 million structure will house the biology, chemistry, physics and computer science departments. It is also slated to house the school’s computer information center. When completed, the building will offer 32 teaching and research labs, 59 offices, a main computer room, two 100-seat lecture halls and one 200-seat lecture hall. The building is being paid for with a $50 million tuition revenue bond.
