Men wanted in connection with robbery
Comments 0 | Recommend 0HOBBS, N.M. Hobbs police are looking for two men who robbed a grocery store Sunday morning.
A Hobbs Police Department news release stated that officers responded to a hold-up alarm at 9:23 a.m. Sunday at La Tienda Grocery Store, 420 E. Marland. When officers arrived, they learned that two men with a small handgun entered the store with bandanas over their faces and grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the store's safe, the release stated.
La Tienda is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the men. Those with information can contact the Lea County CrimeStoppers at 575-393-8005, text HPD at TIP411 and enter 575HPD in the text or e-mail HPD by going to www.citizenobserver.com.
