A free seminar to help answer business owners with questions about state taxes is scheduled 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 16 in room 1314 at the UTPB CEED Building, 1400 N. FM 1788.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs' office regularly presents free taxpayer seminars throughout the state.

At the seminar, taxpayers will be able to learn about sales tax forms, filing and paying taxes electronically, taxable goods and services, e-services to help taxpayers manage their accounts online, the Comptroller's e-mail subscription service that alerts taxpayers when new tax information is posted online, and other services.

Comptroller representatives will be available to answer questions.
