Three charged
Comments 0 | Recommend 0West Odessans remain jailed on possession charges
Three West Odessa residents are in the Ector County Detention Center after they were arrested Wednesday night on possession charges.
Sgt. Gary Duesler said in a news release that the Ector County Sheriff's Office Special Investigative Unit, S.W.A.T., and the Department of Public Safety Narcotics Unit served a search warrant of a home at 911 E. 23rd St.
Duesler said 61.6 grams of cocaine and a small quantity of marijuana were found during the search. The street value of the cocaine is estimated at $6,160. Investigators also found $15,000 in cash believed to be drug sale proceeds, a shotgun and a stolen 9 mm handgun.
Ariel Pantoja, 23, David Thurmond Harmon, 29, and Patricio Nunez Esquievel Jr., 24, were all arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Harmon and Esquievel Jr. both remained in the Ector County Detention Center with no bond. Pantoja remained in the Odessa Detention Center with no bond.
