    The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police

    Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

     

    AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

    >> An Odessa man reported a known person hit him on the head with a flashlight, fracturing his sinus and causing several head lacerations at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Collier’s Car Wash, 2601 W. University Blvd. Another person took him to Odessa Regional Medical Center.

     

    BURGLARY OF A BUILDING

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $380 in damage to a door frame, entered her vacant home and took two screw guns, an air compressor, two nail guns and a tile saw worth a total of $1,760 between 6 p.m. Monday and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 4300 block of Redbud Avenue.

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her shed and took a lawn mower and weed trimmer worth a total of $450 between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Travis Avenue.

     

    BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

    >> An Odessa man reported someone caused $20 in damage to a window lock, entered his home and took a .30-06 caliber rifle and assorted jewelry worth a total of $3,600 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of North Texas Avenue.

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took a flashlight, Taser, electrical clippers, box cutter and back scratcher worth a total of $79 between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 bock of Adams Avenue.

     

    ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

    >> A 29-year-old West Odessa man was arrested and charged with four counts of engaging in organized criminal activity after three Odessa men and an Odessa woman reported he and others shot at them, causing a total of $375 in damage to a tire, tire rim and rear bumper on one of the men’s blue 2004 Saturn SI at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of East Eighth Street, according to an e-mail from Odessa police Cpl. Sherrie Carruth.

    Eleacer Huerta Jr., 11513 W. 63rd St., was being held Thursday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $156,000.

     

    EVADING ARREST DETENTION IN A VEHICLE / MANUFACTURE OR DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

    >> A 27-year-old Odessa man was arrested for evading arrest detention in a vehicle and on a warrant for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 1:49 a.m. and 1:51 a.m. Thursday at Billy’s Zodiac Club, 400 S. Dixie Blvd.

    Billy Johnson, 1508 S. Texas Ave., was being held Thursday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $30,000.

     

    FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone used her driver’s license and Social Security number to get medical services between July 2007 and 8 a.m. Monday at Medical Center Hospital, 500 W. Fifth St.

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone used her ID on June 6 in Conroe.

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone used her ID between 2006 and 2009 in Utah.

     

    POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE / UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A FELON

    >> A 20-year-old Odessa man and a 31-year-old Odessa woman were both arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and the woman was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon at 9:38 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 700 block of Carver Avenue.

    Demetric Prince, 1101 Fitch Ave. apt. 801, was being held Thursday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $25,500.

    Leesie Laneil Wynn, 1007 Graham Ave., was being held Thursday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $40,500.

     

    POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE / STALKING

    >> A 27-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and stalking after an Odessa woman reported that the man, described as her ex-boyfriend, was stalking her at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at Jack in the Box, 3811 E. 42nd St.

    Brantley Watts, 2032 Zacate, was being held Thursday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $50,000.
