BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
>> 7-Eleven, 3660 W. Eighth St., reported someone entered the store and took four large packages of beer worth a total of $80 at 2:21 a.m. Thursday.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her storage building and took a lawn mower worth $200 between 6:30 Thursday and 11 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of East Everglade Avenue.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $280 in damage to a window and bedroom wall, entered his home and took a tool box worth $100 between 8 a.m. Sept. 14 and 8 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Avenue C.
>> A 18-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation after another Odessa man reported he entered his home and took a knife, MP3 player, charger, two headphones and a cell phone worth a total of $270 at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the 4400 block of North Esmond Avenue. The property was recovered.
Christopher Woodward, 2415 W. Fifth St., was being held Tuesday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $500 in damage to a window, entered her home and took nine pieces of miscellaneous jewelry worth a total of $3,500 between 8 p.m. Friday and 3:39 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Lindberg Street.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took a TV and wall mount worth a total of $810 between 3 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Bluebonnet Avenue.
DEBIT CARD ABUSE
>> Odessa-based Reliable Transport reported a known person used the company’s debit card on Thursday at Rockin’ Q Smokehouse, 3812 Penbrook St.
FORGERY
>> An Odessa man reported someone altered and passed his money order on Sept. 8 at an unknown location.
INTERFERING WITH CHILD CUSTODY
>> The state of Texas reported someone violated a court order by retaining his child at 6 p.m. March 22 in the 2200 block of Nabors Lane.
THEFT
>> An Odessa man reported someone took a black 1994 HMDE utility trailer and a welder worth a total of $4,800 between 8:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Bagley Avenue.
THEFT OF PROPERTY worth less than $1,500 with two or more prior convictions
>> Wal-Mart, 4210 N. JBS Parkway, reported someone tried to take five scented oils and two video games out of the store worth a total of $54.82 between 3 p.m. and 3:28 p.m. Thursday. The merchandise was recovered. No arrest was made.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE
>> A Garden City man reported someone took his red 1999 Dodge pickup worth $4,000 between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday at Parkway Inn, 3071 E. U.S. Highway 80.
