    The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police.

    Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

     

    BURGLARY OF A BUILDING

    >> 7-Eleven, 3660 W. Eighth St., reported multiple people caused $600 in damage to the front door, entered the store and took three 12-packs of beer worth a total of $38.97 between 1 a.m. and 1:01 a.m. Wednesday.

    >> An Odessa man reported someone entered his storage building and took a TV worth $1,000 between 9 p.m. Monday and 9:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of North Texas Avenue.

     

    BURGLARY OF A HABITATION

    >> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $50 in damage to a glass door, entered her apartment and took several letters and pictures, a wedding ring and a bag of change worth a total of $4,080 on July 20 in the 2200 block of East 57th Street.

     

    BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE

    >> An Odessa man reported someone entered his 2005 GMC Yukon, caused a total of $8,550 in damage to the body of the car, the console and the dash board, then took four wheels, four tires and a head rest worth a total of $3,100 between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of West Second Street.

    >> Grapevine-based VFC reported someone entered the company’s white 2004 Chevrolet 2500, caused $200 in damage to a door and took two 95-pound spools of copper and a ground rod hammer worth a total of $3,000 between 10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday at Best Western, 110 W. Interstate 20.

     

    DEADLY CONDUCT

    An Odessa man reported someone shot at his home, causing $200 in damage to a window and wall while he was in it at 4:10 a.m. Aug. 6 in the 4700 block of Locust Avenue.

     

    DEBIT CARD ABUSE

    >> An Odessa man reported someone took his debit card and used it between Aug. 4 and Friday at Murphy’s USA, 2400 N. West Loop 338.

     

    THEFT

    >> An 18-year-old West Odessa man was arrested and charged with theft at 9:02 p.m. Monday in the 6200 block of West Third Street after an Ector County Sheriff deputy reported finding the man with a Yahama Raptor ATV worth $5,995, which was reported stolen by an Odessa man on July 8 from the 300 block of Lotteman Drive.

    Jessie Ray Sanchez, 6320 W. Dunn St., posted a $15,000 Tuesday.

    >> Uncle’s, 1515 S. Grandview Ave., reported someone took a carbon dioxide tank worth $4,500 on July 27.

     

    THEFT OF PROPERTY WORTH LESS THAN $1,500 WITH TWO OR MORE PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS

    >> A 25-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with theft of property worth less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions after Wal-Mart, 2450 N. West Loop 338, reported he tried to take two articles of undescribed merchandise worth a total of $94.61 from the store on Tuesday. The items were recovered.

    Troy Holmes, 1301 W. 13th St., was being held Wednesday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

     

    UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE

    >> An Odessa man reported someone took his beige 1999 Chevrolet Silverado of undetermined value between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South Sam Houston Avenue.

    >> An Odessa man reported someone took his burgundy 2005 Ford F-250 worth $18,000 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at Wal-Mart, 2450 N. West Loop 338.
