Hospital board
The Ector County Hospital District board of directors will meet to discuss roof repair and routine agreement renewals at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Medical Center Hospital board room, 500 W. Fourth St.
MCH Chief Executive Officer Bill Webster said the board will discuss a bid by Lydick-Hooks worth $269,080 to repair the roof over the laboratory and dialysis section of the hospital.
"The area is leaking, and there’s a lot of square footage there," Webster said.
Directors also will consider renewals of agreements for medical plan reinsurance, the risk management system, collection agency services and a lithotripsy (kidney stone treatment) and green light laser agreement.
Webster said directors will examine a resolution to support the Fifth Street Streetscape, a project by the City of Odessa and Main Street Odessa to upgrade downtown. The group is trying to seek federal funding, which the resolution will support.
