MCH elevator upgrades?

Hospital district board of directors to consider bids

The Ector County Hospital District Board of Directors will consider bids Tuesday for elevator upgrades at Medical Center Hospital.

The board approved renovations to the first three of MCH's 27 elevators in July 2007. That upgrade cost $409,313.

Tuesday, it will look at improving four more elevators.

Also on the agenda are discussions of several plans, including the organizational wide improvement plan, an emergency management plan and an infection control plan.

The board will also consider:

>> A regional UPL Resolution.

>> A perfusionist agreement.

>> A complete Rx agreement.

>> An ambulatory care center letter of agreement.

>> ProCare physician agreements.

>> An American Express Corporate Card Program.

>> Medical Equipment Management System, software and hardware.

>> A nurse paging system.
