AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
>> An Odessa man reported a known person and two unknown people punched and kicked him in the face between 2 a.m. and 4:23 a.m. Sunday. The man was taken to Medical Center Hospital and was treated for a broken jaw, swollen face and bruises.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
>> 7-Eleven, 3700 Andrews Highway, reported someone caused $500 in damage to a glass door, entered the building and took two 12-packs of beer worth a total of $25.48 between 2:37 a.m. and 2:39 a.m. Saturday.
>> The Car Stop, 620 E. Second St., reported someone caused $800 in damage to a plate glass window and entered the business between 1:15 a.m. and 1:27 a.m. Sunday.
>> Odessa Concrete Supply, 1107 W. Murphy St., reported someone caused a total of $2,030 in damage to two doors and a padlock and entered the business between 1 a.m. and 1:36 a.m. Saturday.
>> 7-Eleven, 1401 W. University Blvd., reported someone caused $600 in damage to a front door, entered the store and took two 12-packs of beer worth a total of $25.98 between 2:10 a.m. and 2:19 a.m. Saturday.
>> Family Hair Salon, 707 Roosevelt, reported someone entered the salon, caused $100 in damage to a window and an unknown amount of damage to a credit card reader, then took a bottle of wine worth $5 at 1:13 p.m. Sunday.
>> Water Wizard’s, 8702 Andrews Highway, reported someone entered the business, caused a total of $1,000 in damage to two water dispensers and a door, then took $175 in cash between 12:01 a.m. Oct. 14 and 5:50 p.m. Thursday.
>> Mayfield Paper Co., 2321 E. Second St., reported someone caused $1,000 in damage to a door by prying it open and entered the business between 5:30 p.m. Friday and 6:26 a.m. Saturday.
BURGLARY OF HABITATION
>> An Odessa teen reported a known person entered her home; assaulted her and took a phone worth a total of $100 between 1:40 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of Dawn Avenue.
>> An Odessa woman reported known people entered her home damaging a window air conditioning unit, a window and blinds worth a total of $490 and assaulted her between 1:30 a.m. and 1:43 a.m. Tuesday In the 3800 block of Bowie.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone kicked down the front door to her home causing an unknown amount of monetary damage, entered the home and took two video game systems and 50 DVDs worth a total of $1,800 between 8 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Graham.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $400 in damage to a glass door, entered her home and took $1,500 in cash between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday in the 3700 block of Andrews Highway.
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $85 in damage to a glass window, entered her home and took a laptop computer, video gaming console and video game worth a total of $1,465 between 8:40 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of North Grandview Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took a brass compass, watch, electrical tester, jig saw and bit set worth a total of $395 between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of East 45th Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took three video gaming consoles, a laptop computer and mobile scanner worth a total of $7,100 between 7:30 a.m. Friday and 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of East Sixth Street.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE
>> Big Bend Telephone Company of Alpine reported someone entered two vehicles damaged a window and door lock worth a total of $750 and took a laptop and yellow toolbox worth a total of $1,550 between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 4:17 a.m. Tuesday in the 6200 block of East Highway 80.
>> An Odessa man reported someone took three wrenches, a drill and a ratchet set worth a total of $2,800 from his white and blue 2006 Chevrolet 2500 between 1:45 p.m. and 1:58 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of West 25th Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her maroon 2009 Ford Edge and damaged the passenger door window and door handle worth a total of $1,700 and took two credit cards between 9:45 p.m. Sunday and 1:45 a.m. Monday in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Kermit Highway.
>> Champion Autopiler, 2620 E. Eighth St., reported someone caused a total of $160 in damage to a window and battery cable on the company’s white 2003 Ford F-150, entered the pickup and took a charger worth $1,833 between 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
FORGERY
>> Kwik Kash, 2804 Andrews Highway, reported a person passed a fraudulent check between 4:57 p.m. and 5:11 p.m. July 23.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
>> A 25-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 10:32 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of Clifford Street.
Juan Diaz, 403 Clifford St., was being held Tuesday at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $53,000.
