Editor's note: The following blotter item contained an error in Wednesday's blotter. Here is the correct information:
>> A 47-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence at 11:50 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Humble Avenue.
Jeffrey Rea, 5 Santa Domingo Court, was released from the Ector County Detention Center Tuesday after posting bonds totaling $25,185.
Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.
AGGRAVATED ROBBERY
>> An Odessa man reported someone took two TVs worth $2,994.28 from him at gunpoint at 10 a.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of Pleasant Street.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa woman reported someone damaged a set of mini-blinds worth $25 in an attempt to enter her home between 6:20 p.m. and 7:46 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Westbrook Ave.
BURGLARY OF A BUILDING
>> Someone entered Cassidy's, 2322 Andrews Highway, and damaged a door, ceiling tile, wall and pool table worth $650 at 5:59 a.m. Wednesday.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa woman reported someone forced into her house, causing $200 in damage to her door and window, then took $100 in jewelry between 10 a.m. Sept. 3 and 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East 13th Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone kicked down a back door, causing $300 in damage to it, then entered her home and took a DVD stand and 200 DVDs worth a total of $500 between 7:50 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 3100 block of East 21st Street.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home, caused $100 in damage to her door frame and took two TVs, four figurines and a jewelry box worth a total of $2,510 between 7 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Clifford Street.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took a .22 caliber rifle, a wedding ring set and a checkbook worth a total of $1,200 between 6:30 a.m. and noon Tuesday in the 1700 block of North Sam Houston Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and damaged a fence and back door worth a total of $182 at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 8800 block of Holiday Drive.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and damaged a TV and door frame worth a total of $1,700, then took 120 DVDs, a receiver and a DVD player worth a total of $1,730 between 10:30 a.m. and noon Tuesday in the 1100 block of Santa Rosa Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home by kicking down a back door and took $50 in change between 1 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of East 10th Street.
>> An Odessa man reported someone smashed a glass window worth $100, then entered his home and took a TV and four DVDs worth a total of $730 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Sunset Lane.
CRIMINAL MISCHEIF
>> A Midland woman reported someone she knew caused $3,100 in damage to the hood and paint on her car's spoiler and door at 5 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Amburgey Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone caused $12,000 in damage to the front door and back door of his blue 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer between 1:30 a.m. and 1:35 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of East Everglade Avenue.
DEADLY CONDUCT
>> An Odessa woman reported someone shot at a black 2005 Chevrolet Silverado she was riding in, causing $3,000 in damage between 1 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of South Sam Houston Avenue.
FORGERY
>> An Odessa man reported someone took three checks and signed his signature on them some time between Sept. 11 and Sept. 13 at a Wal-Mart, 4210 J.B.S. Parkway.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
>> A 46-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 11:50 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Humble Avenue.
Melanie Ann Bailey, 608 Beal St., was in the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday on bonds totaling $15,315.
>> An Odessa woman and an Odessa man were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 9:25 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 900 block of East Monahans Street.
April Elizabeth Dixon, 19, of 1101 Fitch Ave., was free after posting a $15,000 bond.
Yonald Jeffery, 21, of 910 E. Monahans St., was free after posting bonds totaling $16,000.
>> A 33-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 1:08 a.m. Nov. 6 in the 300 block of Gerron Street.
Kevin Shorter, 409 Bunche Ave., was free after posting bonds totaling $27,000.
>> A 44-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 1:32 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Grandview Avenue.
Joe Carmona, 2001 N. Sam Houston Ave., was in the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday on bonds totaling $16,000.
>> A 33-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 10:40 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of East Second Street.
Joseph Rodriguez, 1344 E. Second St., was in the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday on bonds totaling $8,000 as well as a $5,000 cash restitution.
>> A 30-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 10:11 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Patterson Avenue.
Janane Thurman, 218 Patterson Ave., was free after posting bonds totaling $1,725.
>> A 25-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 1:17 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of East Monahans Street.
Daniel Hollowell, 6501 East Ridge Road, was free after posting bonds totaling $40,000.
>> A 43-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance between 11:20 p.m. and 11:36 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Pearl Street.
Marcos Galindo, 1305 Woodlawn Drive, was in the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday on a $7,500 bond.
>> A 60-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance between 9 p.m. and 9:46 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of East Odessa Street.
Clarence Redic, 1200 N. Golder Ave., was free after posting a $7,500 bond.
POSSESSION OF METHAMEPHATAMINE
>> A 30-year-old Odessa woman was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine at 2:44 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 16th Street and North West County Road.
Jennifer Scott, 5424 W. 39th St., was free after posting bonds totaling $26,000.
ROBBERY
>> An Odessa man reported someone threw him against a fence and took his wallet at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of North Kelley Avenue.
THEFT
>> An Odessa man reported someone he knew took a laptop computer, a monitor, a cell phone, tools and a purse worth $2,585 from his home while that person was visiting his children between 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of North Sam Houston Avenue.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knew took two rings worth $1,843.07 sometime Nov. 4 in the 4300 block of Conley Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone took a power washer worth $1,400 from his front yard between 11 a.m. Nov. 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of North Washington Avenue.
