Biking for a cause

The OHS Students in Philanthropy class awarded money to 13 organizations during the ceremony. The SIP students raised $1,000 and the Abell-Hanger Foundation contributed an additional $7,500. The other organizations to receive awards are American Diabetes Association, Buckner Children and Family Services, Bynum School, Christmas in Action, Day Assembly of God Food Pantry, Humane Society, Meals on Wheels, Permian Basin Mission Center, Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center, Samaritan Counseling Center, West Texas Opportunities and the White-Pool House Museum.
