Shooting victim identified
Comments 0 | Recommend 0An Andrews man shot and killed Thursday has been identified.
According to a news release from the Andrews County Sheriff’s Office, Paul Winslow Adair III, 28, died in the driveway of his home at 960 SE FM 1601 in Andrews.
Police were called to the home at 9:18 a.m. Thursday morning on a shots fired report. Upon arrival they found Adair lying in his driveway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bobby Odell Clark, 52, of Andrews, was arrested at another location and has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of Adair. Clark lives near where the crime took place, but information on his relationship with the victim is not being released, Andrews County officer Cheryl Martin said.
Justice of the Peace Neri Flores has ordered an autopsy of Adair. His body was sent to the Dallas County Coroner’s Office.
