Accident blocks road
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Odessa Police said an 18-wheeler heading southbound on East Loop 338 collided with a tractor trailer going west on I-20.
Sgt. Tom Caldemeyer said the tractor trailer ended up on its side blocking traffic on the west bound service road.
Officers said the truck was carrying furniture that needed to be unloaded before the 18-wheeler could be flipped upright.
Caldemeyer said the driver of the tanker was 57-year-old Domingo Torres of Lubbock and 44-year-old Benjamin Martinez of Abilene was driving the tractor trailer that was struck.
Minor injuries were reported.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
