The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police

Numbered addresses of crime victims’ private residences and locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon

>> An Odessa man reported a family member used a deadly weapon to assault him sometime between 9:10 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of North Dixie Boulevard.

Assault

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knows choked her, hit her and took away her cell phone while she tried to dial 9-1-1 at 9:10 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of East Eighth Street.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knows put her in a "strangulation" type hold around her neck, impeding her breathing and circulation sometime between 10:35 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Graham Avenue.

Burglary of a Building

>> An Odessa man reported someone broke into his storage shed and took a toilet, sink and faucet worth a total of $420 sometime between Feb. 1 and 3:43 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of West 22nd Street.

>> A Midland man reported someone broke into an empty house sometime between 8 a.m. March 8 and 1:25 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Keystone Drive.

>> Amigo’s Convenience Stores, 2001 N. West County Road, reported someone broke the front door’s glass and took beer worth $90 at 5:17 a.m. Monday.

Burglary of a Building/Theft

>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his building and damaged five air-conditioning units worth a total of $75,000 by taking the copper wire and tubing strips out of them sometime between March 8 and Sunday in the 1100 block of Pagewood Avenue.

Burglary of a Habitation

>> An Odessa man reported someone took two flat-screen televisions and a computer worth a total of $2,050 sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of McKinney Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a video-game console, HD cables and a cap worth a total of $269.98 sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of East 17th Street.

>> An Odessa woman reported someone took two wedding rings and 300 CDs worth a total of $3,350 sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Lasseter Avenue.

>> An Odessa man reported someone took a television and video-game console and accessories worth a total of $1,150 sometime between 12 a.m. and 12:54 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of West 33rd Street.

Criminal Mischief

>> An Odessa woman reported someone she knows entered her apartment and did $2,290 in damage to her home at 2:17 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of East Monahans Street.

Injury to a Disabled Person

>> An Odessa man reported someone he knows struck him with a closed fist in the face sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of North Meadow Avenue.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

>> A 24-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 12:19 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of East Eighth Street.

Luis Orlando Corralez, 310 E. Eighth St., was released Sunday from the Ector County Detention Center after posting a $7,500 bond.

>> A 17-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 9:14 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of East Eighth Street.

Aubroy Pierre Smith, 208 Fitch Ave., was released Sunday from the Ector County Detention Center after posting a $7,500 bond.

>> A 37-year-old Odessa man and a 31-year-old Odessa woman were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 3:40 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of East Eighth Street.

Jeremy Marc Gerber, 9977 W. Palm Drive, was being held Monday in the Ector County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

Angelita Maria Garcia, 10551 W. Palomino Drive, was being held Monday in the Ector County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

Theft

>> Tejas Shooting Sports, 812 E. Eighth St., reported an employee intentionally appropriated $17,125 from an employer without consent sometime between 8 a.m. Jan. 4 and 6 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of East Eighth Street.
