Pedestrian dies
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A middle-aged woman wearing dark clothes was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in West Odessa, according to a report by CBS 7.
Department of Public Safety troopers said Andrea Maddox was walking down the middle of the street when she was hit and killed by a Ford pickup at about 8 p.m. Sunday night in the 10600 block of West Third Street, the television station reported. Troopers said the driver didn’t see her.
Maddox died at the scene.
“She was wearing a dark jacket, and witnesses say she was walking down the middle of the street. The driver of the truck didn’t see her and struck her,” Trooper Chad Matlock told CBS 7:
Matlock also said Maddox didn’t have any kind of identification on her at the time of the crash.
No citations were issued in the accident.
