The Story: In regards to an OA story that ran Wednesday, David Finley, executive director for facilities and maintenance for ECISD, said he didn’t feel pressured into building a fence for one of trustee Donna Smith’s constituents.
>> mr moore, I was just wondering. For what school do you volunteer? Are you attending all the school board meetings? What is your level of education? Have you taken any courses in education? Are you an expert in school board trustees? I ask this, because if you are representing the district in your communication with TEA, I hope you are qualified. If not, start meeting the need of our students by being a VIP, cleaning a field, driving a bus, or teaching a course.
>> The Rives supporters who are dredging up old news about Woodall saying Allman should be fired after the OHS loss should also remember that Woodall publicly apologized. Forgive and forget. Or, the you must also remember that Rives arrogantly demanded that Scott Smith be fired from PHS as football coach. He was not fired but offered a short contract and we lost Coach Smith, a huge loss to PHS. They that live in glass houses should not throw stones.
>> So how does Mr. Moore, and with what credentials, become a spokesman and radio personality. He makes claims without checking the facts. He makes Odessa look bad because he has personal friendships with some very incompetent people in political positions. He is a man who thinks he knows it all, but knows nothing. This action with the TEA shows it all. He is a simple man, of simple mind, who doesn’t do his homework.
>> Bravo! Mr. Moore has let his personnel friendships cloud the facts. Rives and Sollis drove the district into a ditch, too bad Mr. Moore didn’t wait a week to get the results. I guess he has mud on his face along with the Sollis and Rives group trying to find the road.
>> Sounds like this Jason Moore has you people worried. What do you have to hide?
