FORT DAVIS Adan G. Martinez, 58, of Fort Davis, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Alpine Valley Care Center in Alpine.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Davis. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Davis with Fr. Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery in Fort Davis. Arrangements are by Alpine Memorial Funeral Home in Alpine.

He was born in Alpine. He was a self-employed carpenter.

SURVIVORS Mother, Josefina Martinez of Fort Davis; daughters, Tika Cannon of Mesquite, Adana Martinez of Terlingua, Dina Martinez and Gina Martinez of Midland and Jennifer Dutchover of San Angelo; son, Donney Rey Martinez of Odessa; sisters, Yolanda Martinez and Rosie Hernandez, both of Fort Davis; brothers, Frank Martinez of Marfa and Jimmy Martinez, Ernest Martinez and Eddie Martinez, all of Fort Davis; and nine grandchildren.
