The friendly staff at Westlake Ace is there to put a smile on your face.

"One thing you won't find at Westlake Ace is a self-service checkout," says store manager Gus Santillan. "We believe in serving the customer from the minute they walk in the door to the final purchase at the checkout counter."

Westlake Ace offers key cutting, screen repair, lawn mower blade sharpening, paint matching, glass cutting, lawn and garden tool rental and special orders. They have a wide selection of goods, including one of the biggest selections of nuts and bolts in the Permian Basin. "We also carry a full line of Benjamin Moore paint," Santillan adds.

Although Westlake Ace has only been in business in Odessa for 20 years, the Westlake chain has been in business for 100 years. That's a long time! Many people don't realize that there are more than 85 stores in the Westlake chain. Most stores are located in the Midwest, including Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri, as well as Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Westlake Ace Hardware recently celebrated with a complete remodel. "It had been many years since we had a facelift, and the new remodeling job helps us to serve the customer better," Santillan says.
