>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her home and took three DVD players, a stereo, a jewelry box, a computer and DVDs worth a total of $1,930 between 8 p.m. Friday and 7:19 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Conet Drive.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered her shed and took a welding machine, two drills, a weed trimmer, a hand saw and a nail gun worth a total of $2,800 at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the 4200 block of Dakota Avenue.
>> An Odessa woman reported someone entered a building and caused $450 in damage to a door and frame between midnight July 30 and midnight Monday in the 3700 block of Dumont Drive.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took two laptop computers and a TV worth a total of $2,829.99 between 12:10 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 6400 block of Eastridge Road.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took two .22-caliber guns and a crossbow worth a total of $430 between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Santa Rosa Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone entered his home and took a TV worth $1,000 between 6 a.m. and 6:14 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of East Fourth Street.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
>> An Odessa woman reported someone threw rocks at her dark gray 1999 Cadillac d’Elegance and caused $1,500 in damage to its hood, windshield and passenger window at 5:13 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Glenwood Avenue.
DEBIT CARD ABUSE
>> An Odessa woman reported someone used her debit card on Saturday at Wal-Mart, 4210 N. JBS Parkway.
FORGERY
>> An Anton woman reported someone she knew took seven checks of hers and signed them between Aug. 3 and Monday in the 8600 block of Duke Avenue.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE / BURGLARY OF A HABITATION / ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY / ESCAPE
>> A 19-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of burglary of a habitation, engaging in organized criminal activity and escaping while arrested at 1:58 a.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Whitaker Avenue.
Christopher Gallegos, 1401 Harless Ave. was being held at the Ector County Detention Center on bonds totaling $276,000.
THEFT
>> Right Jewelry, 4101 E. 42nd St., reported someone took 20 silver chain necklaces, 19 gold chain necklaces, eight silver rosaries, four gold rosaries and 10 silver-plated chain necklaces worth a total of $2,615 between 6 p.m. Sunday and 9:55 a.m. Monday.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE
>> Lithia Toyota, 5050 JBS Parkway, reported someone took its black 2010 Toyota Tundra of undisclosed value between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
>> An Odessa man reported someone took his white 2006 Ford F-350 worth $40,000 between 7 p.m. Friday and 10:15 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Rocky Lane Road.
>> An Odessa man reported someone took his red 1993 Nissan pickup worth $1,400 between 3:30 p.m. and 3:38 p.m. Friday at the Southwest Office building, 4001 E. 42nd St.
>> Hobbs, N.M.-based Jim Spence dealership reported someone took the company’s black 2008 GMC Denali worth $46,000 between 12:30 a.m. and 7:56 a.m. Saturday in the 4200 block of Kirkwood Drive.
